Eminem Likes To Write Music WHERE?!

Eminem is spilling a lot in the new ‘Rolling Stone‘ Magazine issue where he graces the cover. He talks about losing a ton of weight for a movie, Elton John helping him with his sobriety, and his favorite place to write music.

Per E! Online:

“I think we do most of our best thinking on the sh-tter. What else do you have to do in there besides think?”

Hmm. Good point. Eminem also reveals he was once so obsessed with his weight that his ideal body was that of Christian Bale in “The Machinist,” a role for which the actor lost a lot of weight, becoming virtually a shadow of his former self. He also dishes some details about his unofficial “sponsor” Sir Elton John and how he was the first person he called when he realized the drugs were killing him and he needed to break the addiction circle.

“He usually calls me once a week to check on me, just to make sure I’m on the up-and-up. He was actually one of the first people I called when I wanted to get clean.”

Pick up the new Rolling Stone to read more. I’m sure it’ll be a great issue!

Alexander Skarsgard Fully Nude Rule

As I mentioned, I am not a baller and I am not blessed with HBO, so “True Blood” is beyond me and grasp of television goodness. Skarsgard creeps me out, but lots of you will chase him around with your panties around your ankles begging for an autograph. As a result, here is some Alexander Skarsgard naked-ness for you. (Click HERE for the True Blood Rolling Stones Cover featuring Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer nude. OR click HERE to see Alexander drunk and molesting a male friend.)

Skarsgard revealed that when he does those “racy sex scenes” that he is completely bare and doesn’t cover up with a modesty sock.

Via Us:

“I don’t want a sock around it, that feels ridiculous. If we’re naked in the scene, then I’m naked. I’ve always been that way.”

Apparently Anna covers up with a modified thong/patch/apparatus and Moyer opts to wear the sock.

“I’ve got nothing to hide,” Stephen says. “I just think it might be embarrassing for the crew.”

I have heard that one before…

‘True Blood’ Nude and Bloody Rolling Stone Cover – SEE IT HERE

I am not fortunate enough to get the glory of HBO beamed to my tv so I only get to hear tales of Sooki, Bill and Eric. So I don’t get the appeal of Stephen Moyer. He looks like the creepy janitor the slutty cheerleader who lives on slim fast and animal crackers is having an affair with.

Anyway, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skaarsgard are all nude and covered in some bloody mary mix (one can only hope) .

Leonardo DiCaprio: My Child Star Competition Killed Themselves

Umm…ok. Leonardo DiCaprio talked about his involvement in the latest theatrical box office must-see, ‘Inception.’ He always uses big words like cathartic and existential, but in a candid and cold moment he talks about his rise from the child star ranks in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I got to be wild and nuts, and I didn’t suffer as much as people do now, where they have to play it so safe that they ruin their credibility. I didn’t care what anyone thought…. It was also about avoiding the tornado of chaos, of potential downfall. It was, ‘Wow, how lucky are we to not have hung out with that crowd or done those things?’ My two main competitors in the beginning, the blond-haired kids I went to audition with, one hung himself and the other died of a heroin overdose… . I was never into drugs at all. There aren’t stories of me in a pool of my own vomit in a hotel room on the Hollywood Strip.”

He didn’t name names, but I believe that the “blond haired kid” who hung himself was Jonathan Brandis. Sad. Leo goes on to talk about his post Titanic fame and I question the interviewer use of time with DiCaprio…

On dating:

“I had better success meeting girls before Titanic. My interactions with them didn’t have all the stigma behind it, not to mention there wasn’t a perception of her talking to me for only one reason.”

On dealing with his Titanic fame:

“It was like there was a separate entity out there,” he says. “Not to use a James Cameron reference, but it was like being in a little bit of an avatar.” He cringes. “That’s going to sound extremely self- indulgent. It’s going to sound like, ‘Oh, I was a frickin’ avatar,’ give me a break, I’m already vomiting.”

How odd, me too!

Lady Gaga’s on Rolling Stone – Cover and Quotes

Can’t get enough Lady Gaga? Well then, you’re in luck as she once again graces the cover of ‘Rolling Stone‘ for the July issue of the magazine, showing off her booty in a skimpy black thong. The pop princess is nearly-nude wearing just her thong and a machine gun bra which she has worn previously in her music video for “Alejandro.” The epic and controversial video has tallied a remarkable 25 million views in just two weeks since it’s premiere on VEVO.

Per Rolling Stone:

In the most extensive interview the pop star has ever given about the breakup that inspired her transformation from Germanotta to Gaga, her complex relationship with her beloved father and the music on her next album, Lady Gaga tells Rolling Stone contributing editor Neil Strauss art is life and not being fierce isn’t an option. “When I wake up in the morning, I feel just like any other insecure 24-year-old girl,” she says. “Then I say, ‘Bitch, you’re Lady Gaga, you get up and walk the walk today.’”

Inside, Gaga discusses her insecurities and modeling herself after the King of Pop.

“If I were to ever, God forbid, get hurt onstage and my fans were screaming outside of the hospital, waiting for me to come out, I’d come out as Gaga,” she says, adding that she models her celebrity on Michael Jackson. “Michael got burned, and he lifted that glittered glove so damn high so his fans could see him, because he was in the art of show business. That’s what we do. I don’t even drink water onstage in front of anybody, because I want them to focus on the fantasy of the music.”

Lady Gaga also discusses her new album, which she plans to release early next year. She plans to announce the title of her new album at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

“I think I’m gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo,” she says. “I’ve been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it’s finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don’t. I write music every day.”

She hinted that her new music was likely to be more serious than her hit debut, which turned her into one of the pop world’s biggest stars.

“Why are we still talking about ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’?” she says. “It’s like, what f*****g year is it? It makes me crazy! And I have been for three years baking cakes — and now I’m going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be.”

The Fame Monster” featuring Alejandro is available now on iTunes. The full Rolling Stone article will hit newsstands tomorrow, June 23rd.

New Music Friday – Vampire Weekend

Vampire Weekend’s name is derived from lead singer Ezra Koenig’s amateur film of the same name and gained attention via a variety of blogs, such as Stereogum. The band claims to be influenced by both African popular music and Western classical music, describing their genre of music as “Upper West Side Soweto”, with such songs as “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa” referencing Congolese soukous music. The members of the band met while attending Columbia University; they then self-produced their first album after graduation while concurrently working full-time jobs. Koenig and drummer Chris Tomson first collaborated as members of the comedy-rap band “L’Homme Run.”

In 2007, Vampire Weekend’s song “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa” was ranked 67th on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Best Songs of the year. They were declared “The Year’s Best New Band” by Spin magazine in the March 2008 issue, and were the first band to be shot for the cover of the magazine before releasing their debut album. The band’s debut album was released January 29, 2008. It was a success in the US and UK, peaking at number 15 on the UK Albums Chart and number 17 on the Billboard 200. In December 2008, Vampire Weekend’s debut album was #2 in Under The Radar magazine’s “top 50 albums of 2008″ issue. In the January 2009 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, their self-titled album was dubbed the 10th best album of 2008. The band’s debut album also came 42nd on NME’s ‘Top 100 Greatest Albums of the Decade’ list.

The band’s second album, “Contra,” was released on January 11th 2010. The album’s first single “Cousins“, was released last November. The video features the members of Vampire Weekend singing in a long alleyway, doused in confetti. Throughout the song, the members of the band rotate places on the platform that moves to various points in the alleyway. While some of the band members are on the platform, the others take position on ladders positioned beside the platform. The band members also exchange masks of one another, wearing them whilst singing. You can check out the video above.

Taylor Lautner’s Rolling Stone Cover and Out Takes – See Them HERE!

taylor-lautern-rolling-stone-cover

The Frisky has brought forth unto Twifans and crazed Team Jacob panty wearing moms the Taylor Lautner Rolling Stone Cover. (Sounds of a choir of children singing and doves being released.)

Yes, I’m sure this will be the best selling Rolling Stone cover of the year, easily! However, this is likely the last Taylor Lautner cover shot for awhile with the “New Moon” opening behind us. Now we need to wait a couple months for the PR machine to rev up again in anticipation of “Eclipse” in June. By then Lautner will even be of legal age, which will make this whole operation going on of half naked pictures completely legal for us non-teenaged Twi-hards to drool over. Is he really only 17 years old?! …Excuse me while my almost-30 behind goes and bathes in some holy water.

Taylor Launter Wet on a Beach – Photos

taylor-lautner-wet-t-shirt-1

How about a little eye candy to help you through the weekend? Taylor Lautner was dripping wet and looking super sexy on Thursday as he took part in a Rolling Stone photo shoot on a LA beach. He was having fun during the shoot – doing back flips, tossing a football around, and oh yea, did I mention that he was wet? This is almost enough to make me jump from the Team Edward bandwagon over to Team Jacob… almost. The “Twilight” wolfpack hunk showed off his back muscles and was having quite a bit of fun on a motorcycle, showing off his balancing skills while riding around. Want to see more?? There 52 pictures in total and its a shame that we can’t put them all up so you can hope on over here to check them all out.

How is this boy only 17….I just don’t understand it. I’ve come to the conclusion that this “only 17″ business is either a clever hoax, or else he’s really a wolf and has recently grown into full maturity, because WOW! 17-year olds just don’t look like this! Ok, I’m not a full fledged cougar just yet… I’m still a cub, but still he is younger than me and I can’t help reaching out for a shamwow when I see him! Its so wrong that they dangle jail-bait infront of us like this!

Lady Gaga Nude on Rolling Stone Cover

It’s no surprise that Lady Gaga is wearing a clear corset and gracing the cover of Rolling Stone’s June 2009 issue. The “Poker Face” singer is synonymous with risqué and odd fashion choices. She often walks the street sans pants and isn’t afraid to let her crazy run rampant.

Per Rolling Stone:

“The truth is, the psychotic woman that I truly am comes out when I’m not working,” she says (during Hiatt’s time with the star, she rocks a massive radio concert, takes advice from Cyndi Lauper at a photo shoot and suffers a brief breakdown at a Walmart.com taping). “When I’m not working, I go crazy.”

She is so into her music and art that she hasn’t got time for messing with men. During another interview she stated that all she looks for in mean is a “big d**k.”

The bit where she calls out the reporter for a stupid question is priceless.

Blink 182 is Back!

The three members of the Southern California pop-punk band Blink-182 announced they are getting back together, big news considering their 2005 breakup ended a run of platinum-selling albums. Tom DeLong, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker made the announcement last night during the Grammy Awards. The band has been officially on hiatus since February 2005 after what DeLonge described in an in-depth interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune as a “major blowout.” Since then DeLonge has gone on to form the band Angels & Airwaves, while Hoppus and Barker put together the band +44.

Per Rolling Stone:

“Isn’t it great to see the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder back together again,” Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus joked as his band — together again — took the stage at the Grammy Awards to present the trophy for Best Rock Album to Coldplay. “We used to play music together, and we decided to play music together once again,” added Travis Barker. The bottom line: “Blink-182 is back.”

In November 2008, after the plane crash in South Carolina that left 4 people dead and nearly killed Barker and his friend DJ AM, Hoppus blogged that the trio had resumed talking. Barker, the band’s drummer, has since indicated that the plane crash was a large factor in the decision to reunite with his friends and band mates.

Per Rolling Stone:

“In the midst of everything else that has happened lately, Tom, Travis, and I have all spoken together,” he wrote. “First through a number of phone calls, and then a couple of weeks ago we all hung out for a few hours. … We’re just reconnecting as friends after four years of not talking.”

Along with announcing the return of Blink 182, they also took the stage to remind fans why they were missed so much in the first place. The band rocked the stage to perform one of Blink 182’s classic hits “What’s My Age Again.” After the Grammys, an official announcement from the band was released:

Per Rolling Stone:

“Hi. We’re blink-182. This past week there’ve been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. To put it simply, We’re back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy. Summer 2009. Thanks and get ready…”

The return of Blink 182 is being very well received among fans who were shocked when the band split in early 2005. Fans have been eager for the band to reunite, me included! “New Moon” and a Blink 182 record — 2009 is going to be a great year!
