Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, and Cory Monteith NOT Leaving ‘Glee,’ Overstreet OUT

Ryan Murphy has once again delivered more ‘Glee’ news that has my mother calling me in the wee hours of the morning (YES. Anything before 11 AM is considered wee hours when one has a hangover).

While at Comic-Con one of the show’s creators, Brad Falchuk, announced that despite the fact that Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, and Cory Monteith will graduate on the show…they will NOT leave the show. EW reports that the trio will return for season 4 of ‘Glee.’

Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith NOT Returning to ‘Glee’

As we reported earlier, the cast of ‘Glee’ will be replaced. One by one the kids will graduate and leave the comfort of their make believe high school to keep things “real.”

Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will not return for a fourth season of ‘Glee.’ They will graduate and the list of characters you will have to say goodbye to will grow.

‘Glee’ Cast to be Replaced ?!

If you’re a Gleek than this news probably won’t make you happy. It seems that next year ‘Glee‘ creator Ryan Murphy has plans to replace the entire cast! But we love the cast you have? They’re doing a great job. They’re bringing in huge ratings? Why ever would they be replaced?

‘Glee Live! 3D’ to Come to Theaters in August

Don’t deny it. After Tuesday’s amazing “Glee” episode of all Fleetwood Mac songs, you were sitting in your living room musing what Glee would be like in 3D. You thought, “Hey! Wouldn’t Matthew Morrison’s awkward chin cleft look even more delightful projected directly to my face from a giant screen?” Well, all your dreams have come true!

Kings Of Leon and ‘Glee’ In War Of Words

It’s been an on-going feud between one the world’s biggest bands and one the world’s biggest shows. Kings of Leon refuses to let the show ‘Glee‘ use any of their music. Well Glee’s Ryan Murphy sent out a big “F U” to the band and they responded harshly.

Per Hollywood Reporter:

“F— you, Kings of Leon,” he says in THR’s cover story, out this week. “They’re self-centered assholes, and they missed the big picture. They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument. It’s like, OK, hate on arts education. You can make fun of Glee all you want, but at its heart, what we really do is turn kids on to music.”

Of course Kings of Leon weren’t just gonna take this lightly, so drummer Nathan Followill took to Twitter.

“Dear Ryan Murphy, let it go. See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra. Zip your lip and focus on educating 7yr olds how to say f***.”

I’m gonna side with KOL as the winner of this round!

NO Justin Bieber Tribute Episode on ‘Glee’

Justin Bieber will be on ‘Glee,’ but he will NOT be honored with a tribute episode.

Lady Gaga and Britney Spears are the caliber of artists to be the center of tribute episode on ‘Glee.‘ The show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, explained that he has much love for The Biebs, but won’t be setting aside an entire episode to his music.

Via EW:

“Those [tributes] are reserved for artists with big catalogs,” he explains. “Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam (Chord Overstreet) sings a JB song to win Quinn’s (Dianna Aragon) approval.” The episode, which is called “Comeback”, will air later this winter and also feature Rachel (Lea Michele) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) diva’ing it out on a tune from Rent.”

Sorry my younglings. You will have to settle for interviews in which Bieber asks, “I am good looking, right?” (Click HERE for that Vanity Fair…)

“Glee” to fire its stars?!?

“Glee” creator Ryan Murphy isn’t about to let Lea Michele turn into a gray-haired senior that’s a senior. According to Murphy, he has every intention of cutting the New Directions kids once they’re ‘too old’ to be in high school.

Via News.Com.Au:

“Every year we’re going to populate a new group,” Murphy says. “There’s nothing more depressing than a high schooler with a bald spot.”

Murphy goes on to explain that the 2012 season will likely the last for Quinn, Finn, Kurt, Rachel, Artie, etc. He plans to focus more on how students come in and out of the lives of teachers (I am sure Matthew Morrison is breathing a sigh of relief).

He plans to replace the Gleeks with new comers.

If you are a fellow Gleek, be sure to stop by Hollywood Dame every Wednesday morning for my weekly re-cap of the previous night’s episode. Check out my review of last week’s episode, “Special Education,” by CLICKING HERE.

Britney Spears Second Glee Episode ?!!

The first “Glee” episode featuring Britney Spears hasn’t aired yet, but plans for a return visit are being thrown around. The high school musical series is already brewing ideas for a second Britney Spears episode. (Click HERE for Britney’s Twitpics of filming at Glee.)

Filming for her first Glee appearance reportedly went very well. Ryan Murphy, one of the creators of Glee, vaguely confirmed that second Britney episode will be happening.

Access Hollywood asked point blank if she was going to be featured again and he answered with a breezy “Probably, yeah… probably.”

Word is that Spears’ first episode will center around some of the singers being under anesthesia at the dentist and experiencing Britney Spears hallucinations.

Jane Lynch to Host SNL

Glee’s version of an evil-doer (Cheerleader/gym teacher with a heart of gold dipped in pom-pom strings and wrapped in track suits) will be hosting Saturday Night Live.

After Facebook petitions with thousands of follower and signatures, Jane Lynch will be hosting SNL. October 9th will be her hour of glory on live tv.

Matthew Morrison To Shave Head For ‘Glee’s’ Britney Episode?

JustJared is reporting that in “Glee’s” second episode back next season – the Britney Spears themed installment (read about that here) – Matthew Morrison will pay tribute to Brit-Brit’s famous meltdown by shaving his head for the show.

“The recreating of Brit shaving her head is going to be epic!” our source adds.

There’s been no confirmation or details released on how it’ll happen – if indeed it does – but Life & Style is reporting that a casting call DID go out on July 28th for a double for Morison which read “Must be willing to shave your head on camera”. During the TCA press tour, Executive Producer Ryan Murphy said that “Glee” would pay tribute to Britney in a “fun and unexpected way.”

At least it will be funny.
