If have to answer one more question about the rumored drunkenness that was the 2008 American Music Awards….I will be forced to go get hammered myself.

So…Rihanna, Chris Martin from Coldplay and Scott Weiland were all said to have put on shoddy performances and are thusly drunk. Scott had a difficult time standing upright while simultaneously reading and is also now labeled drunk.

Truth is…either A – These are human beings that record in studios that grind flawless recordings into our brains, so when you see the live shiz….it is just terrible. OR B – Everyone was sloshed at the AMA’s/

Your choice, but I am thinking that if Rihanna could waltz around the stage wearing an eye patch and dominatrix heels she is either a classy drunk or her talent comes from the recording studio. Chris Martin wants to be Bono and can’t pull it off so he appears trashed. And Scott Weiland ….probably drunk.
