Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson Hook Up Rumor – Video

radar-world-exclusive

Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry enjoyed a night out together in Burbank California last night, reportedly getting flirty at times, where they were celebrating a friend’s birthday with a large group of friends at a karaoke bar. According to Radar Online, the two are regular karaoke buddies at Dimples Supper Club in Burbank and looked to be more than just good friends, even leaving together in Katy’s car.

A Dimples’ staffer tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that in 2008, Rob and Katy visited the karaoke dive together. “She brought him here before. Every time she comes he seems to follow.”

Robert and Katy showed up late Wednesday night with friends, and Katy took to the stage to sing a Christmas song that apparently didn’t sound very good due to trouble with the bar’s speakers while Robert was throwing back whiskey and colas. It’s also being said they were talking with their foreheads touching and Katy was giggling and “positively giddy” around Robert.

“She had on black skin tight pants with the sides cut out, Rob was getting an eyeful and he loved it!”

So, wait…Kristen Stewart doesn’t do karaoke? And if Katy is more than just friends with Robert, then why was boyfriend Russell Brand shopping for Cartier diamonds in London before flying to L.A. this week? (Read about that here.) Love how Radar fails to mention that birthday girl/friend Shannon Woodward is also in the car with them as they leave, making Robert sit in the backseat. Or the fact that in the video, Katy & Robert are no where near each other or talk to each other until they’re in the car. Or how about the fact Radar is one of the few places to leave out the fact that Brand was also spotted hanging out with the bunch for a while. Yup – this can pretty much be chalked up to BS.

New Music Friday – Adele

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, known professionally as just Adele, is an English singer who describes her musical style as “heartbroken soul.” She began singing at the age of 4 when she became obsessed with voices, an obsession that she says is still ongoing. Some of her influences includes Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald, who she says she stumbled upon on accident while a teenager looking through cds in a local record store.

Adele wrote her first record, “Hometown Glory” when she was only 16 years old. During her teenage years she recorded a demo and gave it to her friend who eventually put it on MySpace where it became very successful. Adele then got a record deal through MySpace, but at first didn’t believe it was real because the only record company she knew was Virgin Records. In 2007, Adele was awarded with the first ever Brit Awards Critics’ Choice Award. She then later signed to independent music label XL Recordings, which in January 2008 released her second single “Chasing Pavements.” The singer has said that the song was written after a night on the town with her ex-boyfriend, who she realized wasn’t worth pursuing anymore.

At the Grammy nomination concert last December, the Jonas Brothers told MTV News that they were big fans of her music. Adele, who performed at the Grammys with country act Sugarland, was up for four awards and won the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance award in addition to being named the Best New Artist. Her album was certified as Gold in February 2009 by the Recording Industry Association of America selling over 230,000 copies in the United States during the first quarter of 2009, ranking it fourth among international artists. Her first single, “Hometown Glory” has been re-released as her fourth, and latest, single. It has been widely featured on United Kingdom and United States television shows including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” and “One Tree Hill.” Adele wrote the song in 10 minutes after her mother tried to persuade her to leave her home town of West Norwood in London for college. You can watch the video for the song above.

Paris Hilton and Paul McCartney Duet

This is one of the many things that will NEVER happen. I will grow a third arm and have Sparklepants’ love child before Hilton touches a Beatle.

While at the Grammy Awards Paris Hilton asked Paul McCartney to doe a duet with her. Bwhahaha!

Per The Daily Telegraph:

Paris, 27, said to 66-year-old Sir Paul: “I’d love to do a duet with you. I’m a singer too and have had an album out.”

To which he said he would have to check his schedule. He might as well have patted her on the head and said… “Oh you are one brave dumb ho aren’t you?”
