The new VH1 show highlighting single life is set for this summer. ‘Single Ladies,’ brought to life by Executive Producer Queen Latifah, follows three single women as they live life in Atlanta. The series stars the fabulous Stacey Dash and airs Mondays at 9/8c on VH1.

Britney Spears Nominated for Seven MTV VMA’s

Bust out the party pony keg. Britney Spears has been nominated for 7 Video Music Awards for 2009. Last year at the MTV VMA’s Brit-Brit took home 3 awards after her comeback. Russell Brand will host the September 13th show again despite his controversial comedy of last year’s show.

So far, Taylor Swift, Pink, Green Day and Muse are all due to perform. No official word on Spears will be joining the performance roster or not. Spears’ vid for “Womanizer” will be competing against Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Eminem’s “We Made You,” Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” and Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” for Video of the Year.

Back in February the Jonas Brothers decided to give their fans a little something for funsies. They had a contest to make Joe Jonas do something ridiculous and doing the “Single Ladies” dance from Beyonce’s latest album won.

I am kinda surprise they didn’t change the lyrics to “Shoulda put a purity ring on it” and send this nuttery off to Russell Brand.

I don’t get her ridiculous eye dusting/sunglass apparatus. Is she trying to be as fug as Kanye? Let’s hope she is just going through an experimental faze. We all have those days. Remember those gigantic baby pacifier necklaces that were sooooo hot? Yeah…I rocked one. So I can let it slide this time.

Enjoy the video while it lasts. Papa Knowles will be out slaying the hood-rat who leaked this any minute now.
