Taylor Swift Slams John Mayer in New Song

Taylor Swift is like a basket full of kittens and it baffles me as to why Robo-Douchebags like Kanye West and John Mayer feel the need to make her cry. It also baffles me as to why T. Squints would let Mayer play with her My Little Pony palace in the first place, but a new song from her latest album, ‘Speak Now,’ is reportedly directed at John.

“They’re all made very clear,” Swift said about her penchant for taking revenge via song. “Every single song is like a roadmap to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won’t know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don’t really have to send out emails on this one.”

In the song, “Dear John” she laments about an older man taking advantage of her 19 year old innocence. Swift and Mayer were rumored to be dating while working on a duet together. Taylor didn’t believe that John’s face belongs on a box of Summer’s Eve and let him break her little glitter covered heart .

“Dear John/I see it all now that you’re gone/Don’t you think I was too young/To be messed with/The girl in the dress/Cried the whole way home/I should’ve known.” A second version of the chorus includes the lines: “It was wrong/Don’t you think nineteen’s too young/To be played/By your dark, twisted games/When I loved you so.

“My mother accused me of losing my mind/But I swore I was fine/You’ll add my name to your long list of traitors who don’t understand/And I’ll look back in regret I ignored what they said/’Run as fast as you can’.”

I side with Taylor, but gurl…you have got to grow thicker skin and let your lady version of testicular fortitude drop. The adorable innocence thing isn’t cute past the age of 20.

Katy Perry Slams Lady Gaga ‘Alejandro’ Video ?!?

Everyone seems to be taking verbal swings at Lady Gaga lately. Christina Aguilera isn’t exactly a fan of the Gaga. (Click HERE to read about Aguilera’s latest comments on the Poker Face songstress.) Paris Hilton flipped her lid in early 2009 when the word spread that the “do-nothing heir-head she (Gaga) went to school with” was aimed at her. Hilton’s frenemies also squealed that she was insanely jealous of Lady’s success.

Donny Osmond also attacked the singer for her ‘Telephone’ video being sexually graphic, use of profanity and violence. M.I.A. (many didn’t know her until ‘Paper Planes’ made a wave on ‘Pineapple Express” soundtrack) voiced how offended she was to be compared to Lady Gaga during an interview with NY Mag.

“Lady Gaga — people say we’re similar, that we both mix all these things in the pot and spit them out differently, but she spits it out exactly the same! None of her music’s reflective of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is.”

Now you can add Katy Perry to that list. The premiere of Gaga’s video for ‘Alejandro’ was a viral search yesterday. Most were left scratching their heads in confusion and pure bewilderment after viewing. Perry followed and tweeted a rather vague message that is believed to be slamming the controversial video.

“Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.”

Do we have another contender in the Anti-Gaga movement? I do find a bit of hypocrisy in this statement due to the fact she is marrying a man whose comedic career is based on penis and fart jokes. We also must not forget that Perry got her start in the Christian music world before she “Kissed a Girl” and liked it and is now strapping on a bra that shoots icing. (Click HERE to see the clip of Perry’s ‘California Gurls’ video featuring the icing bra.)

Is Gaga the second coming of Madonna? She is just as “scandalous” and groundbreaking while causing mayhem in a new age that is more considerably more liberal than Madge’s 1980’s playground. Is jealousy to blame for all the voiced distaste for Gaga’s work? What do you think?

Ke$ha Attacks Britney Spears

britney-spears-fightKe$ha

I’d love to see this cage match. You know Britney would kick off her Uggs, ask Poppa Spears to hold her weave, ball up her claws into little bitch beaters and then be torn of Ke$ha by 3 bayou officers. We just may get to see this action. Ke$ha has made the grave mistake of verbally attacking Britney Spears.

Via Showbiz Spy:

“I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance. If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing. I would never do that to my fans. No offense to her specifically but people have asked me before to mime. I have been up at three in the morning for a television show with jet lag but I refuse to mime. It’s treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing. Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don’t want to treat my fans like they are stupid.”

Oooh, I bet when Brit-Brit gets wind of this she is going to get out her straight razors and Vaseline. The article also points out that the Tik Tok singer was featured on Spears’ track “Lace and Leather.” Ungrateful or mildly retarded? Either way, Brit’s fans are quite aware of the lip syncing that goes on. The tickets come with a declaration of that fact, they say: Britney Spears Live in Concert.

Stephen Colbert Slams Glenn Beck – Video

My boo, Stephen Colbert, attacked Glenn Beck on his show. The “Colbert Report” is one of my favorite entertainment venues. (Yes, I am biased thanks to the fact that my male equivalent is hosting the show.)

Stephen ripped Beck and his 9-12 project by focusing on his hypocrisy and over the top fake crying to build a career at the hands of those effected by 9/11. Glenn’s project is a dedication to help rise again, but not for the families of the those lost that day.

Via Huffington Post:

“This is horrible to say, and I wonder if I’m alone in this,” Beck said on his radio program that day, “you know it took me about a year to start hating the 9/11 victims’ families?” Glenn said on his radio show. “I don’t hate all of them. I hate probably about 10 of them. But when I see a 9-11 victim family on television, or whatever, I’m just like, ‘Oh, shut up!’ I’m so sick of them because they’re always complaining. And we did our best for them.”

Colbert then mocked the New York Times lackey:

“Yes, the 9-12 project is not for families directly affected by 9/11, just people building their careers on it.”

Well said boo. Well said.

Stephen King Disses “Twlight” Author Stephenie Meyer

Stephen King is a bitter old man. The horror author recently gave an interview to USA Weekend and had some not-so-nice words to say about “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer.

He tells USA Weekend via Yahoo News:

“Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”

Snap! Them’s fighin’ words King!!

He goes on to say that Meyer’s work appeals to teenage girls experiencing love and sex for the first time. Really? Not that I am going to argue with you Stephen, ok, I am going to argue with you, but it seems that you haven’t done much research as to whom the “Twilight” series appeals. In fact, a large percentage of the “Twilight” following are women over the age of 25. I proudly, am one of them.

He goes on to say:

“A lot of the physical side of it is conveyed in things like the vampire will touch her forearm or run a hand over skin, and she just flushes all hot and cold. And for girls, that’s a shorthand for all the feelings that they’re not ready to deal with yet.”

I didn’t realize that Stephen King was so in touch with the emotions of teenage girls. Last I knew, teenage girls in King novels were clairvoyant and set their high school on fire after being dumped with pig’s blood. That’s much more in tune with today’s youth than first love, right?

Since I was once a teenage girl, and since I work with teenage girls on a daily basis in my non-gossip life, I would like to issue the following open letter to Stephen King:

Dear Stephen King,

I am sorry you don’t understand the brilliance of Stephenie Meyer’s writing. I am sorry that your stories about possessed automobiles and rabid dogs don’t capture the attention of an entire generation of young people, middle-aged people, and older people.

I suggest you think again, before stating something negative about Ms. Meyer’s writing. The Twi-hards are not a group you want to cross.

Or are you merely trying to live out your next novel?

Sincerely,
A Dame In Training
