Jennifer Love Hewitt Engaged to Jamie Kennedy- No, Really!

That was fast!! Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Love Hewitt & Jamie Kennedy – I guess? The couple spontaneously became engaged Saturday night at at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California, while on stage in front of the entire crowd. This comes after only a mere 8 months since she ended her last engagement. So just how many engagements does this make for Jennifer now?

About two hours into his set, Jamie called Jennifer up on stage to tell some jokes and to do a little singing. Somewhere in the audience a person shouted “Marry her!” up to Kennedy, who took the opportunity to get down on one knee and ask for her hand in marriage. And what did she say? Why, yes of course! This is Jennifer Love Hewitt – Engagements are her thing!

Per NY Post:

“It was a standing ovation,” said our source.

Gee, I guess Jamie out to be glad this happened within her timeline! (Read about that here.) So is it true, or was it just a quick added part to his routine? No word yet from their people or the show if the engagement actually stuck, but I wouldn’t be waiting for pictures of a flashy ring just yet. It could very well just be part of a joke – and if so I hope he’s had enough common sense to come clean about it already cause she’s probably already called the wedding planner and told him to pick up from where she ended her last one!

Good Luck Jamie… You’re gonna need it!

Madonna’s Stage Collapses, Killing One and Injuring Six

A stage being constructed in France for an upcoming concert by Madonna has collapsed, killing a 53 year old man and injuring at least six others. Reports indicate that a crane collapsed while installing Madonna’s stage for her concert, falling apart on top of several of the workers. The injured were taken to local hospitals, while two of the workers are said to be in critical condition.

Per People:

“I am devastated to have just received this tragic news,” the singer said in a statement Thursday through her spokesperson Liz Rosenberg. “My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”

Police and fire officials have closed the stadium while trying to rescue anyone who still trapped. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined. The 50-year-old Queen of Pop was supposed to perform on Sunday at the Stade Velodrome stadium in Marseille, but the concert has since been cancelled. This was one of the stops on the European leg of Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour.

Joaquin Phoenix Attacks a Fan – Video

Just when you think Joaquin Phoenix has gone off the deep end, he shows you there are still a few more feet left for him to dive…literally.

While ‘performing’ at LIV nightclub at the Fountainbleau in Miami, Phoenix began exchanging insults with a paid actor fan near the front row.

Via TMZ.com:

“Phoenix [told] the heckler, ‘I’ve got millions of dollars in my f**king bank account. What do you got?’”

I am guessing the heckler retorted “self respect and a working shower” because Phoenix then jumped from the stage and began punching the man who has suspiciously not yet pressed charges. Someone may want to remind Phoenix that the money he earned making “Walk the Line” was blown on beard combs and rubber-bands for his hair.

Naturally while all this was happening, Phoenix’s BFF Casey Affleck was in the wings filming his documentary. Not wanting to chip a nail on his recently manicured hands, Affleck kept filming as opposed to rushing in to help, adding even more fuel to the theory that Joaquin is merely doing this for sport.
