After the way Katy Perry and fiance Russell Brand have been flaunting their relationship, I knew it wouldn’t take long before Perry’s ex boyfriend Travis McCoy had something to say! The ex-couple had a rocky relationship for a number of years but now McCoy has come out swinging, blasting Perry in a new song off his forthcoming album, and also drags Brand into the mix.

Travis has admitted the break-up with Katy gave him the inspiration to write music. He said: “It could have been about my girlfriends before, but I’m going to keep it real with you – it was definitely about Katy Perry. “I definitely felt a certain way about the whole situation. Having a year or so to reflect on it, you start questioning everything.” And he admitted to being surprised by how quickly Katy and Russell decided to get married. He said: “The timelines? She got engaged so quickly after. I was like, ‘Really?’ I had to sit back and reassess what was really going on. After you have some time to start thinking about it, you start putting things together.”
McCoy rants on about Katy supposedly being with another man and calls her a ‘little brat’ in the song “Don’t Pretend” with lyrics like ‘Little miss teary eyes you have no reason to lie to me/I finally realize why you can’t look eye to eye with me/And I knew about him the whole time/The hotels, phone calls, psshhh the whole nine.’
Interesting to see if – and how – Katy will respond to being called out for stepping out on Travis!
