New Moon Teaser Trailer and Taylor Lautner’s Favorite Scene-Video

Thank goodness Summit Entertainment took my hate mail and multiple threats seriously.

Like many grown women who are currently infatuated with the ‘Twilight Saga’, I was dreading the fact that I was actually going to spend $7.50 on a ticket to see ‘Bandslam’ with the Cell-Phone Centerfold herself, Vanessa Hudgens, all in an attempt to get a glimpse of a fresh New Moon teaser trailer for ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’. Yes, I have a problem. Yes, I should be seeking help and not be seeking pictures of Robert Pattinson’s nipples. But I can’t help myself.

Never fear though. If you are like me (and I KNOW some of you are out there. You’re probably asking yourself now if you should leave a comment) you can use that $7.50 on better things, like a margarita. Summit has released the 14 second teaser trailer which shows us nothing we haven’t seen before expect too much of Taylor Lautner’s wig.

Speaking of Taylor, while at the Teen Choice Awards this past Sunday, he revealed to MTV that his favorite scene in ‘New Moon’ wasn’t in Stephenie Meyer’s book.

Via MTV:

“I loved shooting the scenes with Embry and Quil,” he revealed. “Tyson [Houseman] plays Quil, and he’s just kind of a funny character.

“Me and Bella — I’m sorry, Bella and I — are working on the bikes, and Embry and Quil come in,” Lautner explained of the scene. “Quil’s checking out Bella [and trying to be smooth] and is like, ‘Hey, I’m Quil. Quil Ateara.’ It’s a really funny scene, and the two were really great in it.”

Ha ha ha! That is hil-arious!

Now, take your shirt off.

Official “New Moon” Title And Artwork Released

Last night, I received a message that MTV Movie News would be releasing some very exclusive and important information regarding the high anticipated sequel to “Twilight”, “New Moon”. Because I am committed to bringing you all the latest gossip (not to mention my commitment of undying love and lust to Robert Pattinson), I stayed up to receive the exclusive news.

While waiting, I and the other Twi-hards sat contemplating the upcoming announcement: Would they finally tell us who is playing Aro? Would they finally confirm Dakota Fanning and AnnaLynne McCord? Would they release Sparklepants’ elicit email to me professing his love? Nope. Not even close. And don’t worry Rob, I printed that sucker and took it off my hard drive immediately. It’s well hidden.

MTV’s big news was simply release the official title and art for the film. Twi-hards will be excited to learn that the movie will not simply be called “New Moon.” Instead, producers have opted for the longer title: “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” This makes sense since they want to directly link the sequel to the successful initial film. However, it’s long for me to type, so I will still be calling it “New Moon”.

The powers-that-be have also opted out of using the same shade of blue for the title font that was used for the first film choosing a shade of orange for the sequel. Oohh, scandal. What color will they use for “Eclipse”? What about “Breaking Dawn”?

The best news in my opinion is that the release date is still listed as November 20, 2009. This gives me plenty of time to think of a really good excuse to miss that day of work.

Dakota Fanning Confirms ‘New Moon’ Rumors – Video

IESB was able to get an exclusive interview with the girl behind the latest casting rumors for “New Moon.” As filming starts in March, casting is finally being nailed down. Dakota Fanning is indeed in negotiation after being offered the role of Jane in the vampire saga on the lips of everyone.

Per IESB:

“She confirmed that she is in talks for the role and then we should have an official announcement soon. She expressed her fandom for all things “Twilight” and that she would love to be in the film.”

The rumors started earlier this week that Fanning was flat out offered the role as one of the youngest vampires of the Volturi guard in charge of keeping all vampires in check and the secret world safe. The character has a talent for inflicting torture-like pain with her mind.

As we mentioned last week this might just be perfect casting. (Click Here for that “New Moon” News)
