Pay no attention to my Burton snobbery. Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Chloe Moretz join Depp in ‘Dark Shadows.’ The film is based on the cult classic gothic soap opera that ran from 1966-1971.

It’s Monday morning and some of you lucky hoes get to kick it at home for President’s Day. I am about as political as I am sober, so I am shilling Sparklepants “news” instead of kicking it with my entourage (Aunt Yetta, my mother, my niece and my extremely wise transgender sidekick) at P.F. Chang’s for a liquid lunch. (Editor’s Note: Read “news” as “obvious to the rest of us but just now donning upon everyone else.)
Good ol’ Robert Pattinson is amusing us by shaving his head and joking about being a 25 year old playing a 90 year old damned to live in a 17 year old’s body for eternity. When asked about reprising his role as Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ saga, he laughed and mused that his too famous established no longer needs to slum it for a paycheck old for the role…
“This NFL star likes his celebrity women. He was attached to a star, dumped her and then married. He was cheating with one of the girls from ‘Twilight,’ but that is currently cooled down after the footballer found out she was also hosting a slew of other men in her bed which has included a handful of her co-stars.” [Hollywood Dame]

Robert Pattinson arrived at the press conference for ‘Bel Ami’ with a nearly bald head. The ‘Twilight’ star who makes it rain panties at premieres shaved his head. Yes, I am calling it news because somewhere out there a Twihard is Google-ing their little heart out for some Rpattz goodness and will likely end up some smut ridden site where their computer will get a virus that tubs of digital Valtrex will be able to smote the processor herpes. So, I consider this my good deed for the day.
‘The Hunger Games’ is poised to become the new movie that sweeps the dolla’ bills out of your wallet. The movie, like most films lately, is based on a sci-fi book series that is nearing the 1 million copies sold marker. You know, like ‘Twilight’ but without sparkly vampires and an ending that makes you want to apologize to your eyeballs for the epic waste of time.
The Lions Gate film hits theaters on March 23, 2012 with a sequel projected for November 22,2013.
Looks as if Rosalie’s dislike of Bella has boiled over into real life! Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed are not frenemies, they are downright enemies. The two were formerly best friends, but apparently Reed and Robert Pattinson, Stewart’s current boyfriend, had a fling some time ago and Stewart will “never forgive” Reed for that.

My Guess: While my gut reaction is ALL OF THEM, I really think the answer is none of them. While I am all about being who you are and acceptance, I doubt any of them would come out when their careers are starting to explode beyond the Twilight phenomenon. If I had to pick one…I’d say Taylor Lautner. He’d be an adorable gay and Robert Pattinson is busy in a long term relationship with Kristen Stewart/ allegedly sleeping with Ashley Greene on the side. Jackson Rathbone would be my next guess, but he is rumored to be sleeping his way through the cast. Kellan Lutz is clearly a slut for Annalynne McCord.

I bet you didn’t think today could possibly yield news about a wedding even faker than Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were obviously very affected by shooting their characters’ pivotal scenes in “Breaking Dawn.” Sparklepants explained at a news conference that because his and Kristen’s wedding scene was filmed with an actual priest presiding over Edward and Bella’s nuptials, so “technically” they are married.
As with all projects, if you attach Sparklepants’ name to it, it will instantly see an upsurge in interest.
