Lady Gaga arrived on the Grammy Awards red carpet in a gigantic egg being carried by incredibly buff men. (Click HERE for those pics…) She also performed ‘Born This Way’ just days after its release. (Click HERE for that video..)

The highlight performance of the night easily went to Rihanna, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Skyler Grey and Adam Levine. RiRi started with Love the Way You Lie (part 2) before Eminem took over with Grey and Dre.

Katy Perry also took the stage along with a Grammy during the night’s events.

Usher, Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith all joined forces and took center stage.

Usher Gets Kicked In The Face – Video

Now THIS is funny! During the middle of Usher’s performance in New York on Monday night he laid down on a couch with a female fan (who was freaking out!). She tried to re-position herself and when she did she whipped her 6 inch heel right into Usher’s face!

Per CBS:

The fan tried to smooth things over by massaging Usher’s face, but there was no need: he wasn’t hurt and even cracked a joke about it.

The whole performance ended with the singer and the fan in relatively good terms. They hugged and that was the end of that.

Ushers Dubs Himself Next Michael Jackson

Usher has pretty much crowned himself the successor to Michael Jackson. The creator of The Biebs reportedly told the Daily Star (via DS) that he busts his hump on stage to make sure his fans are happy and he is baring the pressure of filling the void of Jackson.

“You know, we lost Michael Jackson. A lot of pressure is on me and I don’t mind taking it. I wanted to make sure that you get that type of experience that leaves you saying, ‘OMG’. The impression that I would like to leave is that this guy is really stepping it up to a level where people can hopefully compare me to people like Michael Jackson. I basically tear myself apart emotionally, energetically, connecting with you and making sure that you enjoy this moment.”

I had to double check that Kanye West wasn’t the one behind this ego stroking. We all know what a fan of giving himself emotional handys he is.

Usher Caught Cheating… Again!?!

It looks like some people don’t learn their lesson. Usher is no stranger to infidelity. Back in 2004, he cheated on long term girlfriend Chilli from TLC with a woman he barely knew and got her pregnant. In 2009, he cheated on his wife Tameka Foster with his current girlfriend and now it looks like Usher’s back to his old ways. Last week Usher was forced to postpone the Virginia leg of his tour. The official reason for the postponement was that Usher” broke” his ribs. But insider sources are saying this was just a cover up.

Per MediaTakeOut:

According to MediaTakeOut.com’s snitch Usher’s CURRENT GIRLFRIEND, Grace Miguel – who is also his co-manager and stylist caught wind that Usher was GETTING IT POPPIN with one of his backup dancers, the lovely Saidah.

The insider tells us that Grace and Usher got into a BIG BLOW UP over his f*cking around. And with all the DISARRAY that it caused within his camp, Usher was not able to get things together in time for the Virginia performance.

Media Take Out isn’t the most reliable of sources, but are we seeing a pattern here? He cheated WITH her, so it’s quite possible he’s cheating ON her. Well maybe Usher’s latest cheating scandal will inspire some new lyrics and maybe he could call the new song Confessions Part 3… yikes!

Justin Bieber Has A Vocal Coach Due To Puberty?

Puberty is hitting 16-year-old Justin Bieber… And since his voice is changing, he has a vocal coach

helping him through it. Or at least he is according to Britain’s not-so-reliable “News of the World” (via Starpulse) tabloid. But this story seems reasonable and believable… so why not?

A source told the News of the World, “Justin is physically developing at a slower rate than most guys so his voice is only breaking now. He’s working with the best in the business, a specialist called Jan Smith, to make sure he gets much vocal rest as humanly possible for a working pop star.”

Justin’s voice isn’t the only thing that’s changing. He’s also toying with his hairstyle, which could be risky since his old one had become a trademark, apparently. His bangs are shorter than usual now, and his so-called “side-swept flip” has also been toned down a little bit.

The 2010 American Music Awards aired last night. No Adam Lambert dry humping his way to relevancy took place so it was actually a bit blah.

Here is what you missed…pregnant and glowing, Pink and Carey Hart walked the red carpet together. Miley Cyrus was going to cover “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” but switched her song choice to “Forgiveness and Love” a two weeks ago. Taylor Swift flat iron her typically curly hair. Usher and Justin Bieber had a tender moment which involved hugs, smiles and rainbows.

Lady Gaga and Elton John delivered an opening performance that reminded us that even not-so-sexy people are suddenly desirable when they can sing. She was wearing another one of her signature swimsuits on steroids complete with a Kelly Kapowski above the hip cut. Elton had on his Sunday Tea glitter glasses and the two sang a mix of Gaga’s song “Speechless” and John’s “Your Song.”

The night was packed with performances by Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and a slew of others. Pink was one performance that gave me a case of the holyshizs as she twirled around in the air on a giant pashmina while singing “Glitter in the Air.”

Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson sang “Earth Song” (aka “What About Us”) along with the Michael Jackson recording in a 3D video for the song.

New Music Friday – Justin Bierber

An old soul is the last thing you would expect to find inside 15 year old Justin Bieber, but all it takes is one listen to the new artist to realize that he is years ahead of his manufactured pop-star peers. After posting dozens of homemade videos on YouTube in 2007, where Bieber put his spin on songs from artists like Usher, Ne-Yo, and Stevie Wonder, Bierber racked up over 10,000,000 views from nothing more than word of mouth.

Per Billboard:

“I entered a local singing competition called Stratford Idol. The other people in the competition had been taking singing lessons and had vocal coaches. I wasn’t taking it too seriously at the time, I would just sing around the house. I was only 12 and I got second place.” In an effort to share his victory with his loved ones, Justin began posting his performance footage online. “I put my singing videos from the competition on YouTube so that my friends and family could watch them,” he says. “But it turned out that other people liked them and they started subscribing to them. That’s how my manager found me. He saw me on YouTube and contacted my family and now I’m signed!”

The videos caught the attention of former So So Def marketing executive Scooter Braun, who helped Bieber score an impromptu audition with R&B star Usher. Impressed by what he saw, Usher and Island Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid quickly signed Bieber to a recording contract. Bieber released the single “One Time” about one of Justin’s favorite topics, puppy love, and his album “My World” was released in September. I think we may just have another Jessie McCartney on our hands – Only this one is cutie! You can check out the video for “One Time” above – the song is catchy!

Usher Stalls On Signing Divorce Papers

Usher may have just released his new single “Papers,” which chronicles the split and divorce from wife Tameka Foster-Raymond, but apparently he’s not too quick to sign them! Whats the reason for this sudden change of heart? Could it be just another publicity stunt? We all know that Usher has moved on with his life becoming practically inseparable with his lady friend Grace Miguel.

Per Radar:

“Tameka thinks that it’s ironic that Papers is his comeback single when she just wants him to sign the paperwork and finalize the divorce,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “The terms and conditions have been agreed on for around a month but he keeps stalling on them and she’s the one that wants to move on with her life.”

In the song, which will be on his upcoming album entitled “Raymond Versus Raymond,” Usher airs the couples dirty laundry and doesn’t hold back on what he is feeling!

Per Radar:

He sings: “I gave my heart and turned my back against the world/ Cuz you were my girl! / I done near lost my mama/ I done been through so much drama / I done turned into the man that I never though I’d be / I’m ready to sign those papers! I done took all I can take, but you leave me no options girl … I can’t deny how much I loved you / I done gave up everything I had too / As hard as it is I’m afraid I’ve gotta say, I’m ready to sign them papers.”

The couple married in August 2007 and has two sons, Naviyd, 10 months and 1-year-old Usher Raymond V. Reportedly, they have been separated for over a year now, so why the delay in the proceedings? I’m starting to see Usher as being nothing but talk and no action.

Usher Wimps Out

For a brief moment in time, I gained an ounce of respect for R&B singer Usher. But alas, that moment was very short-lived and he went back to that place in my dark soul reserved for people like Steven King and Octo-Mom.

According to US Weekly, the singer was in the recording studio taking up space as he perused through some photos of girlfriend batterer Chris Brown soaking up the sun and jet skiing in Miami. Usher was apparently upset about the lack of remorse Brown was showing considering his current situation with girlfriend Rihanna.

“I’m a little disappointed in this photo,” Usher says about the shots of Brown. “After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face]? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”

Before I could log-on to iTunes and purchase some of Usher’s music, he rebuked his words by issuing the following statement:

“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

I don’t really understand how his original comment could be taken out of context; however, it appears that Usher is, like most musicians and actors, completely spineless when it comes to calling people out for their horrendous behavior. When will someone in Hollywood grow a pair and call Brown out for his actions without taking it back? I know! I’ll start: Chris Brown, you suck. I am still hoping that Jay-Z makes sure you receive your comeuppance.
