Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner on Sale for $126

You can now buy Edward Cullen as portrayed by Robert Pattinson for a mere $126. Of course he is only 17 inches tall and I am guessing isn’t anatomically correct.

A line of “action figures” has been produced that enraptures the likeness of the characters from the vampire saga “Twilight.” A Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and a soon to be launched Jacob Black doll are all yours at just under $130. Tonner, a popular collectibles store, has cranked out a line of figurines to cash in on the teen market. These particular dolls are amazingly (almost creepy) detailed.

Several other dolls have been cranked out, but retailed for less than $20 and there was no Jacob Black doll. Taylor Lautner, who plays the other man-boy after Bella’s heart, has a growing fan base. Now that “New Moon” will focus more on his character you can expect an explosion that will rival Pattinson’s Sparklepants mania. However, the “Jacob” doll is actually a repainted Basic Matt O’Neill and will not be manufactured as a Jacob Black doll. Fret not. I have a feeling that he will be getting his own doll very soon.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ‘New Moon’ Set Photos And Casting Update

A mere two days after I leave the city of Vancouver, all the “New Moon” stuff goes down. First, according to her own Myspace page, singer/actress Tinsel Korey has landed the role of Emily in the “Twilight” sequel. Take this for what it is worth. According to my personal Myspace page I am 22 and in caught in a love triangle with Robert Pattinson and David Beckham.

Speaking of Sparklepants, though I didn’t have the pleasure of seeing him on the streets of Vancouver (wipes away a tear), Lainey Gossip is once again on top of things and has posted new pictures from the set of “New Moon.” The pics show our favorite English export acting out a scene with co-star Kristen Stewart. The pics also give us our first glimpses of Bella’s high school friends: Mike, Angela, and everyone’s favorite frenemy Jessica (played by Mike Welch, Christian Serratos, and Anna Kendrick respectively).

According to Lainey Gossip:

“About this scene – supposedly in the parking lot of the school and there’s an intimate moment between Bella and Edward. Or something.”

As for my trip to Vancouver, I didn’t go home empty handed. Though I did not get my chance to allow Sparklepants to fall in love with me, I did have the pleasure of running into Edi Gathegi and Jackson Rathbone in the lobby of their hotel (what I was doing there will remain off the record). After exchanging smiles with both gentlemen, I freaked internally and watched them get on the elevator. I was pretty pathetic. And since I know you are curious: Edi is quite handsome and taller than expected, Jackson was nearly unrecognizable with his dark hair, but overall is very, very pretty. That’s the best word to describe him.

Jamie Campbell-Bower Joins ‘New Moon’ Cast – Photos

Jamie Campbell-Bower has scored the role as Caius Volturi in the “Twilight” saga. Bower will join the cast for “New Moon” and play one of the leaders of the Italian coven.

Via BBC News:

“You’re the first people I’ve told” he said. “Shooting has already started, and I’m going over in June. I do know who else will be in it – but I can’t tell you, unfortunately.”

You might recognize him from “RockNRolla” and “Sweeney Todd.” He also will be seen in “The Prisoner” with costars Sir Ian McKellan (Gandolf) and Jim Caviezel (Jesus). Also two unconfirmed “New Moon” posters popped up today. Enjoy.

‘New Moon’ Set Photos and Poster – See Them Here

For the enjoyment of all the “Twilight” lovers (and the annoyance of those who are not, sorry) here is some “New Moon” set photo candy. The vampire saga has finally started filming the second film.

Apparently everyone in the cast of “New Moon” smokes. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson , Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz were all standing around on set having a cigarette break. Taylor Lautner is being a good boy and just rocking that horrid wig.

Taylor Lautner Screen Test for ‘New Moon’ Role

The clock is ticking on the “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon.” Filming begins in March and the role of Jacob Black is still undecided.

The original cast member, Taylor Lautner, has been fighting to keep his place in the films. The character undergoes a major physical transformation and Summit Entertainment has been entertaining the idea of recasting the role. The worry is that Michael Copon is currently his biggest competition. However, fans are standing behind Lautner.

This week we will have answer according to EW. The screen writer for the films, Melissa Rosenberg confirmed today that:

”Jacob is a totally different character in New Moon. He’s a foot taller and huge — and he’s supposed to look 25. It’s really a question of whether or not the same actor can play the role. He has to play a romantic lead against Robert Pattinson, who’s a 22-year-old man. That’s a tall order.” Rosenberg is quick to add, however, that ”everyone would love to keep him. We all think he’s the loveliest person ever.”

As of now, Taylor has gained around 19 pounds and “promises to pack on 10 more” by the time filming starts. Currently insiders say that he is screen testing with Kristen Stewart, Bella Swan, for their chemistry level. This is a VERY good sign.

So keep your fingers crossed if you are pulling for Sharkboy!
