Reese Witherspoon Weds Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon married her agent, Jim Toth, on Saturday. The two wed at Reese’s ranch estate in Ojai, California. A rep for Witherspoon confirmed to People the happy news.

The “Legally Blonde” starlet walked down the aisle to the traditional tune of “Here Comes the Bride” as the witnesses included Renee Zellweger, Sean Penn who escorted Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr., Alyssa Milano and her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe. Her two children with Phillippe also took part in the nuptials.

Witherspoon wore a pale pink Monique Lhuillier gown. The ceremony lasted around 20 minutes and ended with an exchange of wedding bands designed by William Goldberg. The band will sit with her 4 carat Ashocka cut engagement ring also crafted by Goldberg.

Some are curious as to what her most recent ex was up to. Jake Gyllenhaal spent the evening bowling while Reese married Jim. He didn’t seem to be thinking too much about her as he and his friends, which included Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, drank Red Stripe beer and even did a celebratory dance after hitting a spare. He even spent some time making friends with a brunette in the next lane before being joined by Swedish model, Mini Anden. She joined the group at around 1 A.M. Jake coaxed her into bowling a few frames and even gave her a few lessons.

Britney Spears to Marry Jason Trawick

If mama Spears has her way, her daughter is gearing toward another trip down the aisle! It’s far from being a secret that Britney Spears has had a rocky past in the romance department, but she just may have finally found the one… at least according to what her mother thinks. Its been said that papa Jamie Spears approves of boyfriend Jason Trawick, but now reports are saying that Lynne Spears is such a huge fan of him that she hopes the couple can make their love go the distance.

Per Us:

“Lynne said, ‘He’s the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him, and he’s stable,’” a friend tells Us Weekly.

Given Britneys last choice in husbands, I’m sure they approve of anybody who isn’t stuffing their cheetos-loving face with one hand while juggling a beer and chain smoking with the other. One thing that apparently impressed mama Spears was when Jason stood by her daughter during her crazy unstable times when she was involuntarily committed twice to a psychiatric hospital in 2008 and losing custody of her two sons the year before.

“Most everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney’s life,” says a source. “He’s very protective of her. She has been honest with Jason about what she’s been through in a way that I don’t think she’s been with other people, and he always preferred to not sugarcoat the harsh reality of what happened to her,” the source adds. “He tells her when she should take responsibility for her own actions.”

Sounds to me he’s more of a babysitter or a paid handler to her than husband material. But maybe thats what Britney needs to keep her sane. Great – if her mom knows whats best for Britney than the world is perfect as always for little Miss Spears, ya know – cause she did such a great job in raising her. *Thumbs up with awkward laugh*

Jaime Pressly and Justin Guarini Marry This Weekend (Not To Each Other)

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom aren’t the only ones to sign away their life as they know it this past weekend! “My Name is Earl” actress Jaime Pressly married entertainment lawyer boyfriend Simran Singh this past Saturday. The couple exchanged their wedding vows around 6pm in front of family and friends at the estate of Dick Clark in Malibu on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This was the same spot as Adam Sandlers 2003 wedding. Pressly wore a dress by British designer Jenny Packham.

Justin Guarini’s wedding was another celebrity marriage that took place over weekend. The season 1 runner up on “American Idol” and “The Simpsons” Side Show Bob look alike married fiancee Reina Capodici in a private wedding on Saturday evening in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, at an estate that overlooks the Delaware river. The couple wrote their own vows and shared their words amongst their 50 guests, which included family and friends.

Per People:

“Justin is one of the most deserving people of happiness and love,” Kimberly Caldwell, Guarini’s co-host on the TV Guide Network’s Idol Tonight, tells PEOPLE. “I know he will be an amazing hubby.”

The couple became engaged back in December in Orlando while Guarini was at Disney’s EPCOT Center filming for the American Idol Experience ride at the theme park. Congratulations to both happy couples!

Paris Ditches Doug Reinhardt, Hooks Up with Cristiano Ronaldo

Come on, who didn’t see this one coming a mile away? Serial dater Paris Hilton has called it quits with her flavor of the month, Doug Reinhardt, after the pair reportedly had a huge blow up at a club, leaving Paris running out to leave in tears.

Per People:

“In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true they are no longer together. They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy,” a rep for Hilton says. “They remain friends and we ask that you please respect their privacy. Paris will not discuss the relationship further.”

This comes as quite a turn of events, as Paris and Doug were talking just 3 days ago about how much they were looking forward to their anniversary. As recently as April, Hilton also declared that she’d wed Reinhardt. Yeah honey, think its time to put that wedding gown back in the closet until the next guy shows up…. But wait! The next guy HAS shown up!! Not even 24 hours after Paris ended things with Doug, she’s already shacking up with a new man – Soccer star Cristian Ronaldo. Paris and sister Nicky Hilton hit up club MyHouse where Ronaldo was out having a good time with some friends, and proceeded to sit themselves down at their table. Didn’t take long for Hilton and Ronaldo to get comfortable around eachother, as its being reported that the duo couldn’t keep their hands off eachother!

Per X17:

“Cristiano and Paris were all over each other swapping spit the entire night! His table needed every waitress in the building to service the large quantities of alcohol, and he spent an excess of 20 thousand dollars on champagne and drinks.”

After the club, Ronaldo left with the Hilton sisters to head back to Nicky’s place and was caught on camera leaving around 5am. Its no secret Paris has had her eye on the soccer stud for quite some time now, attempting to work her Hilton-Charm on him last July. Apparently then, Ronaldo had no interest in the sex-tape star. Wonder how long this will last….Given the pairs dating history, I give it a week.

Cynthia Nixon Engaged

“Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon is engaged. The actress announced her engagement to her girlfriend of 6 years, Christine Marinoni. She made the announcement while speaking Sunday during an Action=Marriage Equality in mid-town Manhattan.

I wonder what Kim Cattrall will bring to the shower?

“Nixon was joined at the rally not by her fiancee, to whom she became engaged last month, but by her ‘Sex and the City’ costar Kristin Davis, David Hyde Pierce and New York Governor David Paterson.”

Nixon has two children from a previous relationship that lasted over a decade with a man. She came out as a lesbian shortly after meeting Marioni, known as ‘Rojo Caliente’ here at Hollywood Dame.

Madonna to Make Jesus a Summer Bride

Madonna and her boy-toy Jesus Luz are all set to get married. Well, sort of. Jesus Luz’s father has confirmed to a Brazilian magazine that his 22 year old son is set to wed the 50 year old Material Girl in a non-legally binding Kabbalah commitment ceremony. But although the couple will be linked together by the service, Madonna won’t be needing a prenup.

Per NYDailyNews via Brazil’s Quem (Who) Magazine:

“The kabbalah ceremony [in New York that] will link up my son Jesus Luz and Madonna only confirms that he is extremely happy.” says Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz. “I don’t know if there will, in fact, be a real marriage between Madonna and my son. It will be a type of ritual, but I do not know Kabbalah [or if the ceremony] will have legal validity. I’ve spoken by phone with Madonna – in French, because my English is not fluent – and she appears to me to be a normal and polite person. She is feminine. I don’t feel she is a harsh person.”

The couple have already been acting like a family unit as they reside together in Madonna’s Central Park West apartment. Jesus has allegedly stepped up as a father figure for Madonna’s kids, playing ball with the kids, according to his father. Sounds like he’d make a good nanny to me, but husband material? Wonder what Guy Ritchie has to say about that!

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard say “I do”

Hollywood acting couple Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have finally made it official. The longtime couple were married in a romantic ceremony at a small chapel at hotel “Masseria” in Brindisi near Rome.

Per Us Magazine:

“We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, May 2.” her rep confirms.

Among the 40 guests included Jake Gyllenhaal, and his girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon. The couple have been dating since 2002 and announced their engagement in 2006. Though the nuptials were largely kept secretive, the “New York Post” did report that the two planned to wed this month. They have a two year old daughter named Ramona together.

With as long as these two have been together, I see this marriage lasting. Congratulations to the happy couple!
