The MARRIED Father of January Jones’ Baby Is…

I used to think that January Jones was as interesting as steamed broccoli, but gurl is proving me wrong in all the ESCANDALO! ways…dismissing minions with the wave of her hand, a rumored affair with Bobby Flay that ended with drunkery and hitting 3 parked cars, diddling one of herX-Men’ costars and now having the baby of a married man. This is 5 different kinds of ho shiz!

A blind item revealed even more details of January Jones’ baby daddy. It practically spelled out who put the bun in her oven.

‘X-Men: First Class’ Official Trailer- SEE IT HERE

Fanboys everywhere are wetting their shorts tonight to get a peek at the first official trailer for ‘X-Men: First Class.’

Look, I don’t know anything about any X Men except that I don’t see a uber buff, nearly nude Hugh Jackman anywhere in this trailer, so I am not so sure I am interested.

However, if this is your cup of tea, then you probably already know that ‘First Class’ is the prequel to the existing X-Men films and focuses on how the comic’s main characters, Professor X and Magneto, start as friends only to become the deepest of enemies.

Via MTV:

The last half of the 1:51 spot kicks up the action, with shots of fighter jets (Beast in the cockpit!), missiles launching, young mutants learning how to use their powers to fight and Lehnsherr taking hold of the famous helmet and stepping into the black-and-red suit of Magneto, followed by stern words from Xavier.

“Listen to me very carefully, my friend,” Xavier says to Lehnsherr/Magneto. “Killing will not bring you peace.”

“Peace was never an option,” he responds, which is followed by quick teases of some of the big action scenes, including one where Lehnsherr is pulling a submarine out of the water and into the air.

The movie stars James McAvoy, January Jones, Zoe Kravitz, and Jennifer Lawrence.

X-Men Weekend!

Instead of sending me roses, Fox is sending me beautiful Hugh Jackman and other sexy mutants. All I can say is thank you. Starting Sunday night!! three 60-second spots will air on Fox. According to Coming Soon.net,

Together, with one spot leading into the next, the spots will form a narrative revealing the origins of Wolverine, and the epic revolution that pits him and other legends of the X-Men universe against powerful forces determined to eliminate them.

To me, this just tells me I am going to see a half-naked Hugh Jackman for three nights in a row. And possibly Ryan Reynolds. Thank you, yes please! I am already a fan of the “X-Men” franchise (even the last one wasn’t so bad), so this is like handing candy to a baby.

To go with these spots, is a new promotional poster, seen here. Liev Schreiber is featured in it as “Victor Creed”, aka “Gambit”.

I would get prepared for more promotional posters, trailers and the like, as “X-Men: Origins” is coming out May 1st, 2009 and now is the time to promote the movie! I am ready, are you??

2009 Movies to be more of the same—Sequels, Prequels and Remakes

Get out your datebook—the headlining movies for 2009 have been posted, and it looks like sequels, prequels and remakes are at the top of the list. It’s not surprising since these franchises are almost guaranteed money makers.

Via Yahoo:

“Despite the recession, blockbuster franchise flicks have rung up killer box-office returns. Studios hope that continues this year with such familiar names as “Harry Potter,” “Hannah Montana,” “Star Trek,” “Transformers,” “X-Men,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Ice Age,” “The Terminator” and “Sherlock Holmes.”"

After looking through the list, I can tell you that “Transformers 2″, “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince“, “X-Men” and “New Moon” are at the top of my list. But the surprise? “Fame”, which stars relatively unknowns like Naturi Naughton and Key Panabaker. Although it does have a reconnection of Kelsey Grammar and Bebe Neuwirth from their Cheers! days. Further, 2009 is going to have the comeback of James Cameron with his movie “Avatar”.

All in all, I say 2009 looks exciting and will commence the year with seeing “Confessions of a Shopaholic“, which comes out February 13.
